Im a fairly new fan of Amy as I only saw her on David Letterman show back in the fall ....How bout you ?

I can't believe I became fan barely two months ago XD
it seems it has been much longer!
It was chancely, as everytime I discover a new group/singer.
This year, Rehab became like all pubs' OST
My sis loved it, and several friends of mine started playing and singing it as well.
A friend of mine changed the lyrics to a Spanish joke lyrics in order to criticize someone we know XD
all of that made me love Rehab, but never had the curiosity to discover other Amy's songs. 
Till one day, I saw a friend of mine had a picture of a precious, beautiful, lovely little girl in msn.
I just love children, and asked him who that cutie was, and he told me she was Amy Winehouse.
He told me about her, and recommended me to listen to more songs besides Rehab.
So I asked a friend to record BTB for me..
I listened to it and I loved it!
You Know I'm No Good was the catchy one!
and I loved that music more and more as I was discovering it..
As something not very typicall in me, I bought all the stuff I found quickly, I just needed to have everything.
And try to listen to it everyday.. I love it and it cheers me up!

I'm really a fresh fan, its been like a month since I got into this Amy obsession.

I heard "Rehab" some months ago on the radio, maybe 3-4 times and I always was curious about this amazing song, I didnt know who sings it, I was sure its a 60s song. I usally don't enjoy that type of music, jazz or blues or whatever its called, I love British bands (Arctic Monkeys, The Smiths, Kasabian, The Pistols of course and many more), mainly Alternative-Synti Pop and Indie. So when I heard "Rehab" I thought it's wonderful anyway. I also read some articles about Amy, and I was sure she was a Pop singer like Britney, and I dont like Pop music. I read about her drug proeblems and her Blake and seen photos, and I was curious about her and I saw this duc on E! about her and I thought she seems interesting. So one day I thought maybe Ill see what she sounds like, pure curiousity. So I went to Youtube and I checked her music out and when I saw she sings "Rehab" I was so amazed, and I started for searching other songs, and I just became so obsessed.

I bought her cds and her DVD last week and came on the forum, and I'm glad to be here with all the other wonderful fans. The only time I became obsessed like that are with Placebo some years ago and Pistols/Sid/ For me these obsessions are always fun and beautiful, it's like falling in love with someone, and wanting to hear and see him all the time.

I hope and wish she will come to play here, coz I have no money to see her someplace else now, we just bought a house and I also got kids (2) so I cant afford it to myself, but maybe one day, when I get money and hopefuly Amy will heal and play again I will see her live. I have seen Placebo and Suede in London some years ago and I will never forget it.

i'm her fan since 2004....my dad buy dvd with 120videos,and i see there amy winehouse-stronger than me,i don't know who is that in that time,but i love this video,and after in june-july 2004 i buy frank,and i love her very much,i hope to see her live,to meet her...

Very new fan, big fan, of Amy.........had never heard of Amy, until the night of the Grammy broadcast on TV....was watching a basketball game and it ended....switched to the Grammys a few minutes before Cuba came on from London and introduced Amy, I was on my computer and not paying much attention to the TV.....but when Amy started to sing .....well it was like nothing I had ever heard before, and I was like under her spell.  Cant get enough of Amy, shes my new love !

i liked her music since a 5 or something month....but i'm a really fan since the mtv music awards.you know where everybody said she was on drugs.i liked her and than i heard a lot music from her and now im a real amy-freak:))

I become also a fan after i saw Amy's preformance at the usa David Letterman late night show. she song live Rehab. i were blown away by her talent and carisma. Then i started to google some mp3 music files as i wanted to hear more of Amy. then i downloaded few songs of back to black cd and i were sold out. since then im a true Amy fan... i got 3 cd's and 1 dvd now :-)

I saw her live at a gig last year, and I was blown away. I fell in love.

Well i became a fan back in the day when "Sent me flying" and the "Frank" album was released. I fell in love when that song was released. But though the break between "Frank" & "Back to Black" albums, i kind of forgot (if possible) how much i really loved her music. Well not forgotten,, but so many more great acts have came out throughout the years that more added to the acts i loved. Then when "Rehab" was a hit song and EVERYONE was playing it, i was like =O omg <3... So i guess "Rehab" made me find my love for her and her music again. Now i absolulty freaking love her. I think even more than i did back in the day when "Frank" was released XD.

I listened to her music all day long it was the only thing I wanted to listen to for a long time. It touches my heart and represents a very specific time in my life.. I just have to stop talking about it on the internet so much. lol

I already posted this some months ago... Anyway:

I first listen to her music during one episode of Grey's Anatomy (third season, "You know I'm no good" "Wake up Alone")...It was like love at first sight...(or maybe song!!!) Then I started collecting her albums,singles.... I really love Amy's music and style because I listen a lot of soul music of the greatest soul/jazz divas (Aretha, Dusty Springfield, Esther Philips, Etta James....and so on...). Now in 2007 we have the posibility of listening not only a great voice but also REAL music (and not all that commercial rubbish!!!). Amy is a real musical example for every artist...I love her lyrics...it's all true, something every girl like me has been through. And the music? What a perfect sound! I could listen to her albums for hours!
