I think, as Georgina does, that it is a very good idea what you propose to help Amy.  GO FOR IT !!

Well I hope she does find help and soon. I guess part of the problem is that Amy has to firstly recognise and accept she has a problem and then have the will to do something about it, to take the first step.

 It's clear through even photographic evidence that Amy's physical condition has deteroated, that and her recent diagnosis are all very alarming warning signs for her and I really do hope she finds the will to turn her life around. I think one thing is for sure, that support is not an issue, she has plenty of it if she wants it, she certainly does have lots to live for and a lot of people who are willing to help her live for it.

The real problem is it is not us you have to convince it is Amy and until Amy decides she needs help no-one can do or say anything that will help.

everybody trying to figure out what's her problem, but what we really have to do, is show our love and show her (even if she doesn't see this message) that we really want her to stay alive, and taking the whole world with her incredibly talent

Please Amy, continue to give us the chance to "party" with you. And please give yourself another chance! You are so gifted! Maybe you know all that and think that you had enough for this life. But I just hope you keep on singing wonderfully with that special energy and rhythm that your voice transmit us. I´m sure you make many people happy! Like me! Everytime I listen to your songs or when I see your clips I feel myself more alive, and start smiling and dancing! Come on, Girl! Don´t be another Freddie Mercury, Janis Joplin or great Brazilian singers like Elis Regina, Cazuza, Cassia Eller, Renato Russo, who left many generations orphans. Please, go inside yourself and find out what makes you happy! And if it´s singing that makes you happy, then keep on singing! The answers are inside us! I suppport anything that will get this woman to stop killing herself.  The problem is that we love Amy but she doesn't love herself.  I wish the people in her immediate circle...record label, family, etc would be more strident and do whatever it took to protect her.  Lock up her drug dealer (s), force her to resolve her underlying issues that r causing her drug addiction etc.  Hell I don't care if she needs to be held in captivity for her own good.  There is no way we should all have to suffer losing the greatest talent of the past 30 yrs, and another musical legend to drugs...

God that unfortunately is the truth.  I wish Amy loved herself as much as we do.  I wish she knew what a loss she's going to be. It's so depressing.

I agree that, first and foremost, she has to realize and accept the fact that she is in deep trouble, herself. Until then, all that anyone tries to do will be seen, by her, as forced by people who is trying to control her life. I hope that happens soon enough.

First of all i apologize for my bad english so i will try to do my best to give you my vision on this whole "situation" .
I can't say that i m an expert when it comes to change someones lifes vision but i can tell you my experience as someone who has struggled with drugs abuse for about 14 years.
It all starts with Amy's motivation off course because stopping with the drugs means saying goodbye to a complete lifestyle.
Its not just using the stuff but its thats what its stands for.
When Amy is convinced that she's not satisfied with the life she is leading at the moment, only then there's hope.

Its a shame to see that someone is throwing her or his life away and someone who's so gifted as Amy  its really hard to see.
She appears so fragile but i'm sure that there's a strong personality underneath that all.
Next question that pops up in my head is; do we wanna help her because she gives us all such a great feeling when she performs or is it because of her personality.
Do you really love her as a person or as an artist?
there nothing wrong with helping someone but i think it must be for the right reasons.
Helping her only because she's such a great singer i think is selfish.
Its after all her own dicision to use drugs or not and she's not one this planet to please others, you know what i'm trying to say? 
I think we have to respect her choices thats she makes in her live but then again when Amy herself dares to ask the big question if someone can help her out with her problems only then there's a chance of "recovery".

When she says she has nothing to live for then there's only one thing you can do and thats convincing her that there's a lot of great things out there.
Hopefully she will agree at some point and with some luck those shells will fall of her beautifull eyes.
So many things have happend to me since i have stopped but she has to find for herself.
I hope that Amy will find out for herself and that she may experience the same things that i have.

Dont let me stop you for trying but im very sceptic.
But when you succeed than i'm the first one to congratulate you by saving the live of one of the greatest performers of this century.
And I can tell you also that there will be a lot of rahab clinics here in Holland who would like to hear about your way of working or maybe better said accomplish a miracle.
If there 's anything I can do in this healing event just let me know.
after all i've struggled my own way out of there.

Do you ever think that maybe the media tries to sensationalize what might not even be that big of a deal? Not to take the addiction issue lightly, but it's not all that uncommon of a problem, people do recover, and Amy certainly has the support, the talent, the drive, the intelligence and everything it takes to get a grip on any addiction issues she might have. Personally I take everything I read in the press with a grain of salt. The media loves to destroy people that don't follow the cookie cutter mold of fame - Amy might have some issues but she has a complex personality and has apparently overcome alot of adversity. Sometimes I wonder if the bad press isn't some kind of reaction to her anti-rehab song. In any case I think she's smart, talented, strong and dedicated enough to continue on and be a success. If it's as bad as the media tries to make it out to be than I have confidence that she'll do what she needs to do to rise above it without having to kiss up to the anti-drug warriors that are so dang quick to judge everyone. It's great to give Amy support if she needs and wants it but somewhat presumptious to believe the media since they love to sensationalize stories to sell newspapers! What has Amy herself said about any of this? Has she addressed this in any interviews?
