hey, I am about to share with you one of the nicest letters I have ever read. It is written for Amy from a friend of mine. she belongs to this forum, and you know her as amy_i_adore. I have become lucky enough to somehow become her friend, and I wish all of you knew her the way I do, well, I guess because she is just so special........
amy i adore's name is Chamelia, and she is pretty much a genius really, lol. although she is just 16 she will be attending Princeton University next month. she is a concert pianist and a writer......
beyond that, she is full of hope for life and for the world . and..........she inpires me every single time I talk to her.
tonight, she asked my feedback on a letter she had written to Amy, and I thought it was so beautiful, I asked her if I could share it with you all.......................
and, I will tell you all, what I told her, and that is I so wish Amy had Chamelia close by her all of the time............
so, with her permission, here is my friend, Chamelia's letter to Amy Jade Winehouse..........
dear amy,
i truly hope this letter brings you a bit of light upon your day of reading it. theres so much to confide but yet i find myself limited of words. i'm so proud of you for everything you've done to make your mark upon this world, i love you, your music, and the inspiration you give me everytime i listen to one of your songs. your ability to convey emotion through music is amazing and i feel that everyone is blessed to have the ability to hear such a wonderful sound. i forever say thank you. i wish you only greater success, the type of success that isn't determined by how much money made and whatnot...but the success thats granted when you find a happy place, a peaceful sanctuary within your own heart. i know its been a trying year for you, my heart weeps at such notions of a "not so happy amy", but i believe that we are ever revolving, ever changing, ever growing...that all things come to a pass in this life only to start a new, better, heightened phase. and because of this, i know your unhappy moments will someday cease, that oneday you will look into the sky and feel inspiration from the little simplicities of life, that there will be a love you find so elusive life will seem frighteningly enjoyable....your going to be so happy,i will never give up my support. i want you to know that at the amy forum we all love you and have the most loving/caring thoughts of you...all of us have faith in you and were so proud of our amy!
life is an interesting excursion with many perks along the way. be merry and serve a purpose worthy of your life, love, and time. long for peace and love...and you, miss winehouse, must long to discover the beauty of your soul because it indeed exists.
