And this month me and my husband are getting matching tattoo's that say "To dodging bullets" we have that engraved on our wedding bands so now we wanna get it tattoed. And then me and my best friend are getting a tattoo together to celebrate 11 yrs of friendship!

Ive got 4 tattoo's

A red rose with a purple heart next to it with my sons name underneath it

An egyptian ankh (cross) on my inner left wrist

Eye of horus on my inner right wrist

And a pattern band on my middle finger.

Those sound hot. I have this idea o get a tattoo on my wrist but I'm ultra terrified! My tattoo I got like 6 months ago and it was my first and it was soooooooo painful for me...lol I was sore for like a week..lol  Does it hurt more on your wrist or finger?

The one on my finger hurt more.

My tattooist said they dont tattoo right round the finger as it wears out to quick so they do the sides and leave half inch untouched underneath.

Im so glad they dont do the underneath as the sides really hurt, i had to grit my teeth lol.

The wrist ones hurt aswell as the skin is quite thin near the creases near the hand.

Im gunna get a bracelet tattoo next.

What design are u thinking about getting done?.

I was thinking maybe a small bar of music or just a music note. Oh my I get goosebumps thinking of the pain! Ahhh! I'm a complete chicken sh!^ when it comes to that stuff it took me yearrrrsssssss to et y first one not to mention the effort it took to get me in the chair...lol

I plan out what design i want then go and book the appointment, then i get all excited till the actual day then i start getting butterflies, then i get 2 the tattoo studio and i start thinking what the hell am i doing here lol.

That tattoo in the pic, where is it on your body and how big is it?.

Its on my lower back right hand side. I'd say its medium size its not small but its not huge so I'd say like medium.

No that pic was from when I had it done like 2 weeks after but it still looks the same. The secret to keeping a tat looking fresh, or atleast for me it was... while it was healing my tat artist told me to use A & D ointment I also put it on the tat like if I was at the beach out in the sun or something and then daily I would lotion it after a took a shower and before I went to bed. and it still looks great! Still looks fresh.

Yeh, i used 'Savlon' which is an antiseplic cream while the tattoo was healing and when they healed i used E45 cream which is used for dry skin.

The tattoo on my finger has slightly faded as the hands are more exposed to the sun.

I used Ink Fix on mine.
